Grandmas of The Creators served as inspiration
Grandmas of the creators instantly realized they shared a passion for mahjong despite not speaking the same language when they first met. The makers were motivated by this to create a card game honoring the many cultural backgrounds of their families as well as the friendly competition between grandparents.
Beautiful Artwork
The cards, which feature anything from matzo ball soup to fortunate cats, are a reflection of the grandmas’ culture, personalities, and fun rivalry.
You can win a round by drawing or stealing your last card, but make sure you call “steal” when you take it! For the designated “Ma” player, the stakes are larger because they always win or lose twice as many tokens.
